Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the Investor and Business visa?

The SIFC Investor Visa is for investors facilitated through SIFC, while the SIFC Business Visa serves business visitors, including those from countries on the NADRA Business Visa List. Eligibility, validity and processing differ by category — always confirm on the official portal for your nationality.

Does SIFC issue or approve visas?

No. Visas are issued through the official NADRA Pakistan Online Visa system. SIFC can facilitate — for example with recommendation support — but the decision and the visa itself come from the official channel.

What is the difference between SIFC assistance status and my visa status?

Your SIFC assistance request (tracked in this portal) shows the progress of facilitation support, such as a recommendation. Your actual visa application status is only available on the official NADRA portal. The two are separate.

How long does processing take and what does it cost?

Processing times and fees depend on your category and nationality and change over time. Check the official fee structure and your category page on the NADRA portal for current figures.

Can I extend my visa?

Extensions are handled through the official NADRA visa portal. Review the extension guidance for your category there, and contact SIFC if you need facilitation support for an extension linked to an active investment.
